The Mask of the Red Death
Phantom of the Opera doll.

The 18-inch (45cm) clay and cloth doll begins with a block of porcelain-like clay
for sculpting the head, hands, feet and skull staff and finishes with the customised
tailoring of the tuxedo and cape.
The Phantom's mask is removable and reveals detailed facial disfigurement.
All parts are hand painted.

Clothing is hand-tailored from specially selected fabrics and findings and includes:
high-collared cape with glass bead and peacock blue-green ornaments at shoulders;
tuxedo with tails; velvet lapels; vintage fabric velvet brocade vest; gold watch-chain
dangling from vest pocket; white shirt and satin bowtie; pearl, removable cuff links; glass buttons and more.

Stained wood base stand with protective felt bottom.

The doll is signed and dated by artist, Leigh Allan.
